The Problem: The Maintenance Light Is On – And You Need the Dealer?
Many Sea-Doo owners report the same problem in forums: After 50 or 100 operating hours, the message "Maintenance Required" appears on the display. Although the vehicle continues to operate normally, the display remains permanently visible. This is particularly frustrating with used vehicles or after self-performed maintenance.
Why can't the service simply be reset?
Sea-Doo uses an ECM-based service interval system for its modern 4-TEC models. The counter is located directly in the control unit and cannot be reset without diagnostic access. In the past, you were dependent on the dealer for this – which cost time and money.
The Solution: M-JET Diagnostic Service Function
With the M-JET Diagnostic Tool, you can perform the Service Reset directly from the app – without a laptop, without a dealer visit. Simply plug in the dongle, open the app, select the service function, and reset the counter. This takes less than a minute.
Which Sea-Doo models are compatible?
The Service Reset function is available for all modern Sea-Doo models with a BRP control unit – including GTX, RXP-X, RXT-X, GTI, Wake Pro, and Spark. The tool is also compatible with Can-Am, Ski-Doo, Lynx, and Williams Jet Boats with Rotax engines.
Read out error codes simultaneously
Take the opportunity during the service reset to also directly read out and clear all current error codes. The M-JET Diagnostic shows you active and historical errors from all control units – ECM, IBRM, CLUSTER, and more.
Also interesting for workshops
The tool is available in license models for 1, 3, 5, or unlimited vehicles – ideal for workshops with multiple BRP customer vehicles.
