Sea-Doo RXP-X 300 Tuning: Get More Out of the 300 HP Engine
The Sea-Doo RXP-X 300 belongs to the popular 300 HP platform and is designed as an agile muscle craft. For these engines, M-JET offers a staged tuning concept.
The Stage Principle
The tuning is organized in stages that build on each other. Stage 1 relies purely on software and is applied via flash, with no mechanical changes at all. From Stage 2, targeted hardware modifications are added, and in the higher stages up to Stage 3 the setup becomes correspondingly more extensive. Which stage makes sense depends on your riding profile and the desired power level.
Matching Hardware
On the hardware side, the valvetrain can be relieved with the Titanium Retainer for Sea-Doo 300HP set of 12 lightweight titanium retainers, which is especially beneficial at higher rpm. For stable boost release, the Blow Off Valve Kit incl. Charge Air Hoses for Sea-Doo 300 does the job, while the M-JET 4 Inch Intake System for Sea-Doo 1503 & 1603 Engines provides more airflow and explicitly supports the RXP-X 300.
Software and Diagnostics
The software side is covered by the M-JET Flasher for Sea-Doo Vehicles, with which you apply setups directly from your smartphone. For monitoring and troubleshooting, use the M-JET DIAGNOSTIC - Diagnostic Tool for BRP.
Conclusion
The RXP-X 300 benefits from a staged concept of flash plus matching hardware. This creates a coherent setup instead of mismatched individual parts.
